My name is Karri Roberts and this blog serves as my naturalists notebook. I graduated in 2007 with Bachelors of the Fine Arts in Printmaking, a Art History minor, and all the courses save student teaching for a teaching certificate. My current top tier interests are: historical research and interpretation, natural sciences, horticulture, greenhouse management, agriculture, landscape design, bird watching and identification, botany, environmental restoration and preservation. I also enjoy fashion design and sewing, whittling, and (fine art) painting .I enjoy being outside, getting my hands dirty, good coffee, libraries, museums, the opportunity to speak with experts and being creative in any respect.
I am currently reading Silent Spring by Rachel Carson and Letters from Egypt by Florence Nightingale and Anthony Sattin.
I am currently a YCC Leader at U.S. Forest Service until late August 2017.
